L.A.-based rapper Blueface was arrested in Las Vegas on Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of attempted murder.
Real name Jonathan Porter, the rapper was taken to the Clark County Detention Center. He was taken in due to warrants for attempted murder with a "deadly weapon and discharging a firearm at/into an occupied structure," said the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

According to police, Porter was wanted for his connection to a shooting that happened Oct. 8. The victim said he was shot outside of Euphoric Gentlemen's Club on Windy Road off the Las Vegas Strip. The victim said he recognized Blueface in the venue and spoke with him earlier in the night.
8 News Now reports that the victim made a joke about Porter speaking with women "in a cheap car," then he was hit multiple times. According to documents obtained by 8 News Now, police got video evidence that shows the men talking to each other before the fight broke out. The video evidence shows the victim trying to leave in his truck and another man in a hoodie shooting two rounds at him. Police say the surveillance footage matches the description of the Los Angeles-based rapper.
TMZ obtained video of Porter in a white hoodie allegedly shooting at the victim as he drove away in his white truck.
In regards to his arrest, TMZ also has that video which shows Porter sitting with his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, outside of a business. A man in regular clothes, he may have been a plainclothes officer, walked up to Porter and pinned him against the wall.
In court Wednesday, prosecutors noted that the rapper skipped a court date on acharge of driving with an expired license plate.
