The Bravo reality star took to Instagram to announce an update on her time with the show.
Danielle Olivera, star of Bravo’s “Summer House,” released a statement to Instagram about her future with the reality show.
In an Instagram post, Olivera noted that the decision didn’t come without “a tremendous amount of thought” and that she needed to trust her gut. She wrote that she won’t return as a full-time cast member for the upcoming season, which is set to be filming this summer.
“If I can’t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full-time capacity,” Olivera said in the statement. “The network, production, my cast, and especially all of you deserve that.”
Olivera expressed gratitude to NBCUniversal and Bravo for their acceptance of her decision, ending the statement by saying she’s rooting for the success of the upcoming season.
The entrepreneur joined the show during its second season in 2018 and has been a regular ever since. “Summer House” follows a group of New York residents who escape the city for the weekend to indulge in partying and booze. During her seven-season run, Olivera launched a mobile app, Donne, which serves as a digital wardrobe. Users of the app can send outfits and lookbooks to friends, receive daily styling recommendations as well as hire professional help.
In her Instagram statement, she notes that she aims to focus more on things that matter the most to her — her company, her closest friends and family, and herself.
Bravo announced the ninth season in May, though the official cast hasn’t been announced.
