The reunion for the latest season of the Bravo hit show took place with expected drama.
As Scandoval continues to harbor headlines, the reunion for season 10 of “Vanderpump Rules” filmed Friday, March 24. And despite the no-phones-on-set rule, plenty of action has been revealed and leaked to the internet.
According to TMZ, Sandoval and Leviss were ripped to shreds during filming, almost to a point of getting physical. Not only were there alleged physical incidents, there was a legal issue of Leviss' restraining order.
The temporary restraining order (TRO) Leviss put on fellow cast member Scheana Shay made filming a bit difficult. A source told Entertainment Tonight that the two couldn’t be on stage together as the TRO wouldn’t allow the duo within 100 feet of one another.
According to the source, they wanted to set up a video call, but Leviss and Shay weren't allowed to acknowledge each other. Leviss presented a legal document to reunion host Andy Cohen. Shay’s lawyer, Naema Rahmani, says the document had no legal meaning.
“It was a request to dismiss a complaint or a civil lawsuit, but [Raquel] had requested a permanent restraining order, which is something completely different,” Rahmani told Entertainment Tonight.
Interestingly enough, Leviss filed to dismiss the TRO once filming wrapped.
“We let the court know I will not be moving forward with a permanent restraining order,” Leviss exclusively told Entertainment Tonight. “My team tried to work with Scheana on a mutually beneficial agreement hoping to get the TRO dropped earlier so we could film [the Vanderpump Rules reunion] together.”
Shay shared a behind-the-scenes moment where she was sitting in front of a camera in a separate room than the main stage. Social media users speculate that this is where Scheana has to film in order to abide by Leviss' restraining order.
Leviss and Sandoval were photographed speaking to one another during a break in filming. In a video that surfaced online, they are seen speaking with one another as well as a producer, though, it's unclear what they're saying.
In another behind-the-scenes moment, Madix wore a yellow “1-800-Boys Lie” sweatshirt when she arrived at the reunion. Andy Cohen posted to his Instagram story about Madix’s reunion look, calling it a “revenge dress.”
After filming wrapped, Cohen posted to his Instagram Story to tell fans about how exhausting it all was.
“Well, that was really confrontational. It was really emotional. Nothing was left unsaid,” Cohen said. “And, I got some new merch to go along with my TomTom sweatshirt from Raquel.”
Cohen wore a white t-shirt that read “Something About Her,” which is Katie Maloney and Madix’s sandwich shop. The comment is a nod to Leviss gifting Cohen the TomTom sweatshirt that Sandoval originally gave to Leviss.
Not only did Cohen come to social media after the reunion, some cast members headed to a local bar for cocktails. Madix stepped out with Shay and Maloney along with past castmates Kristen Doute and Dayna Kathan. In one clip of the outing, Kathan shared footage of the group booing as the bar played news coverage of Scandoval.
A few days after filming, Jax Taylor, a former cast member who has no problem speaking his opinion on the situation, alleges the day nearly ended in a physical altercation. Taylor spoke with Extra at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards about the alleged incident.
"I heard it was crazy, heard it was everything that everyone thought it was going to be," Taylor said. He describes the reunion as "uncomfortable" and he mentions the security presence due to the foreseen altercation.
Taylor notes how shocked he was with the way things went down, surprised that it happened with Leviss of all people. When Madix and her fellow castmates arrived at a local bar after the reunion, Taylor happened to be at the same bar.
"I saw her about two hours after the reunion. They all came to the bar that we were all at and I hugged her for about 30 seconds," Taylor said. "She came into the bar, pointed right at me and I hadn't seen her in a long time. Just gave her a hug and said, 'You know what? You're gonna thrive. You already look better.' She's already glowing."
“Vanderpump Rules” is still airing its 10th season on Bravo, with production clamoring to include Scandoval with the season already filmed and edited. New episodes air every Wednesday at 10 pm EST.
